About AnnaHooping

In 2009 Anna saw an ad in a local rag in Breda for a course ‘hoop dance’. She had always been keen on dancing, so she enlisted with Karin de Wit of Movin’ Circle. She already did ballroom and latin dancing, show dance and belly dance. This was a completely different way of moving, with a hoop, but gradually all came together in one dance form.

After migrating to Greece in 2012 because nobody did hoop dance anywhere nearby. In 2020 Karin started live zoom lessons and ever since Anna has become a fervent ‘zoom hoopie’. Looking for extension in the repertoire of twin hooping (with 2 hoops) she came across Hoop Lovers by Deanne Love in Australia. After several on-line workshops she enlisted end 2023 for the teacher course Hoop Love Coach.

The course is finalised, tens of hoops found their way into the storage room and Anna is ready to give hoop classes and workshops in Greece, in Greek or English (or Dutch).
